Overview:
FMAudit Onsite is a software application that is installed in the end
users location for an extended period of time. This may be for the
term of leased equipment, the duration of an audit program, or ongoing
equipment analysis by the end user. Using a firewall friendly
approach FMAudit Onsite may be accessed remotely over the internet, for
demand audits or configuration changes. You may automate remote
retrieval of audit information by specifying a set schedule, on which
FMAudit Onsite will send the audit information in one of two ways.
Audit information may be transferred via encrypted XML over the internet
and may then be consolidated into one central database, or via email
with attachments viewed with FMAudit Viewer.
Solutions Providers:
Auditing Customer Sites:
Solutions Providers include “FMAudit Onsite” in their
customers locations for the duration of an audit program. This
eliminates the expensive and time consuming manual process of gathering
configuration pages and entering them into a spreadsheet. Using
FMAudit Viewer, you may further analyze this information and produce
output in one of many reports available.
Account Managers:
Account Managers may be kept up to date by receiving the audit
information via email. The attachments may be opened with FMAudit
Viewer, analyzed, reports produced and recommendations made based on
printer usage.
Service Department:
Solutions Providers may also leave FMAudit Onsite installed over the
period of a service contract. FMAudit Onsite will detect any
device service alerts and forward them immediately via email to the
appropriate service or supplies department.
Cost-per-page or Onsite Providers:
Remote Meter Reads:
FMAudit Onsite eliminates the need for manually collecting meter read
information. Remote meter reads may be scheduled with results sent
back to your office. Meter read information may then be integrated
into your back end accounting or service management software.
Service Department:
FMAudit Onsite may be installed in a customers location over the period
of a cost-per-page program. FMAudit Onsite will detect any device
service alerts and forward them immediately via email to the appropriate
service or supplies department.
Service Dispatch:
FMAudit Onsite detects service alerts on networked printers and MFP's as
they occur. Service alerts may be prioritized based on importance,
and forwarded via email to the appropriate service or supplies
department. Current toner levels are also supplied with the audit
information and allow proactive replenishment of inventories.
End Users:
FMAudit Onsite gives you the ability to manage your entire printer fleet
from one application. Multiple site locations may be consolidated
into one central database. Understanding your printing volumes
will provide you with the necessary information to justify printer
upgrades and purchases to your accounting department. You can now
select the appropriate model of printer or MFP based on your known usage
and requirements.
